All dressed up with somewhere to go...

After years of buying just the right new holiday outfit when I was younger, I haven't had something new to wear to a holiday party in 9 Christmas seasons (I bought a dress the year I was pregnant with Teagan). So this year, I splurged on a new sparkly top and a new skirt. I almost went all-out and bought new shoes but I figured that might be overdoing it.

We went to the HOPE fundraiser dinner which was lovely, as always, especially the company of some special friends and their family. We won lots of silent auction items and didn't have to do any sneaky last-minute ninja moves to do so. An evening well spent.
