Well, the Olympics are over! We cheered on Canada's men's hockey team and their right-to-the-wire finish. We watched the closing ceremonies (and loved the flying moose) and were jealous that Grandpa was there in person (he'll be home Tuesday, we've missed him!).
Caden cheered with a hockey jersey and some jumping around. Teagan and Duncan are more laid back hockey fans (in fact they were bugging to watch cartoons).
In our personal hockey life, today is Caden's last day of hockey for this season and yesterday was our last day of family skate. Wednesday is Caden's little "show off for the parents" day at hockey and then we're done until Duncan starts in the learn-to-skate program there next fall (with me as the beginner on-ice co-ordinator, anyone surprised by this!? Ha!).
It must be almost spring!
