August phone dump!

I got an iPhone for my birthday and have been taking pictures with it intermittently but not getting them off! I should start a regular "phone dump" just to see what is on there! Here are a few shots from things we did in August.

We went to see The Railway Children, a play involving a real steam train thanks to my Dad! The kids loved it and Duncan did really well for it being his first full-length theatre production.

 

We hiked at Crawford Lake quite a bit this summer also. There is a beautiful boardwalk circling the lake. The kids LOVE throwing bread down to the snapping turtles that congregate at the bottom of a small cliff!

This is the foundation of the old Crawford homestead. There is also a recreation Iroquois village here that the kids love.
