New season, new studio, and the kids had a GREAT first competition. It was up in Huntsville so a fair drive but we actually made a nice family (Mother's day) weekend of it and enjoyed the pool, playing catch down at the tennis courts (fenced in = not too much running after missed balls!), and watching the big kids dance.
The kids felt good about their first time out for the year and their dances scored quite well. Caden's jazz was novice small group runner up and his acro got a judge's award for focused teamwork.
