Yes, I'm late on this too but after this post I'll be all caught up, I think. On Duncan's actual birthday we had all of the family over for a party. The boys were thrilled with all of their presents and have been playing with ALL of them steadily since...

My very favorite thing about Caden is his enthusiasm. Duncan certainly appreciates his presents and says Thank You in the most polite way but Caden LIGHTS UP like a Christmas tree for each and every gift. I am fairly sure you could give him a cardboard box and he'd light up like that (not to say he doesn't love the gifts because he totally does)!! See?

And me? Well, in addition to being thrilled to have all the grandparents, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews under my roof all at once, I made a gluten-free, peanut-free Wall-E cake which was a labour of love and was eaten by everyone without a single complaint. Is it possible that I've finally mastered the art of GF cake? Or is it more likely that everyone is just getting used to it? Either way, the icing is the part I was proud of!
