Preschool pumpkin patch trips are a rite of passage. Every fall for many many years I've hopped aboard a big yellow bus and rumbled my way to a wet and muddy field to learn about the life cycle of a pumpkin and get to bring one home with one preschooler or another. Well today it was finally Duncan's turn. He woke up before 7 excited to go!
It was cold and damp and, having learned my lesson from T's field trip to Kelso Conservation Area a few weeks ago, I dressed us both with hats and mitts and winter coats and rubber boots! I was glad I did!
There was a bus ride, a wagon ride, a sandbox, a lesson about pumpkins, pumpkin picking, and more!
