Well, I believe our childcare dilemma has been solved. Duncan starts 2 days a week at a local preschool/daycare on the same day the big kids go back to school! He'll be there Tuesday and Thursday from 9-4 which coincides with Caden's days at school, giving me 2 days a week to work in peace.
He was not too sure about the idea at first but after picking out a new pillow, packing his favorite blankie (Jamie, it's the dino one you made him!), ordering his dinosaur Mabel's Labels, and deciding that his Cars cup would be his cup for school, he seems delighted by the idea.
We'll make some short visits over the next few weeks to get him used to the place and his new teacher. I'm hoping for a smooth transition but I forsee the potty thing and the nap thing being hard for a few weeks. We'll see!
