The boys are loving daycamp! There is a different theme or activity each day and lots of fun games and crafts too. One of their favorites is the aptly-named screaming game, in which you run, screaming, until you run out of breath and then you sit down. The child that travels the farthest, wins. You can imagine that I can hear this game from inside our house with air conditioning on and all the windows closed, and also that the boys think it's the best game ever. Also a game involving a bucket of water and sponges. I have not figured out the rules but they often come home happily drenched.
Tuesday was wacky hair day. We got up late, had to go to the chiropractor before camp, and the boys really should have had showers but of course nobody can pass up wacky hair, can they? Purple and green hair gel is an indispensable parenting tool to have in your medecine cabinet. Seriously.
