8 is great!

I woke from the middle of a dream this morning, around 6:20 AM, to a little voice in my ear saying "Guess what? I'm 8!" and then "I don't have to use a booster seat anymore!". In my mostly still asleep state it took me a few minutes to be able to understand but yes, my baby boy is 8!! 8!?

He had a wonderful morning already with phone calls from loved ones and a few presents to open already. I decorated his door which he loved so I think that will have to be a new tradition!

Everyone got ready for school in record time so they would have an hour to play Skylanders with the new "guy". I could barely tear him away when it was time for the bus!
