Hoppy Easter

Easter is a holiday everyone can love (and really, I'm talking the commercial Easter bunny Easter here). There is candy. There is hide and seek. There are crafts. Really, I think those are all the kids' favorite things rolled up into one!

The kids LOVE dying eggs!

We ate these beauties in egg salad for lunch today.

We also made a bunny cake. I have pictures of the cakes before being made into a bunny but I forgot to take any after pictures before we ate it. Suffice it to say if you take these cakes and cut one to look like ears and let 5 children under the age of 10 decorate it to "look like a bunny" with coconut and candy, you've got bunny cake. ;)

We also made cookies which were like sugar bombs! Seriously, I ate one and felt sick from the sugar high! Needless to say, the kids LOVE them (and I am glad we made only 1 dozen!).

And of course egg hunting! Wearing bunny ears and pjs is, of course, the only acceptable clothing for egg hunts.
