Five is great too...

Ok seriously, don't quibble. Duncan TRIED to come up with a good rhyme for 5 this morning and was cranky to not find one.

My baby, my littlest kid is 5 today! How is that possible!? He's at school today (first time he's had school on his birthday) and was so happy to go. He had some wonderful calls from loved ones this morning which left him grinning ear to ear!

What is he excited for about being 5? Well, in our house 5 year olds start getting an allowance, which he's quite excited about AND 5 year olds are expected to 'help out' (unrelated to allowance). He was SO PROUD this morning to load his plate in the dishwasher and make his own bed. His big boy status is pretty important!
