The toothless wonder

Caden got his second tooth pulled by the dentist this afternoon. He was apparently a model patient and didn't cry or fuss at all. The dentist loves him. This one started turning black a week ago. Pretty much as soon as his adult tooth touched the root of the baby tooth as it was starting to work it's way down, the baby tooth died. Apparently it was holding it together by not very much!

Back story - Poor guy fell onto the kitchen floor and banged and chipped his 2 top front teeth around 18 months old. The first one abcessed just before his third birthday and was removed by a friendly pediadontist in March 2007. I remember this clearly because I was desperate to take him in BEFORE his baby brother was born and we got it done in a cancellation spot with basically no notice. Here's the little man at nearly 3 minus one tooth. Does he look traumatized? Nope? you're right... he was totally unphased by the whole thing even back then. A dentist's dream really.
