It was a perfect spring day here yesterday so of course we headed out to the zoo. The zoo was CROWDED since everyone else had the same idea we did, plus it was the start of March break, but the animals were in fine form. The orangutans were swinging on the tire swing and playing peekaboo with the crowd, the hippo was actually out of the water and wandering about (causing Duncan to throw up his arms in glee yelling "Ha - PO!"), the cheetahs were sunning themselves right next to the viewing window, the monkeys were hurling insults from the netting right above the passerbys, and the tiger came to have a little staring match with the kids. What fun.
