Parcels over 2 kg are VERY expensive to mail to England. Don't do it. Like $115 for the slow boat! Yikes! So, Rhianna's 3rd birthday parcel is getting repacked - I had filled in the empty bits of the box with dollar store treasures which, sadly, she will not get now, to remove 0.1 kg in weight and make it possible to mail it express for a reasonable amount of money (under $50).
Edited to add - removing tissue paper and a package of straws cut my shipping bill by $65 (and that was for express now). Insanity!
