Teagan was devastated to learn that not only was she not invited to competitive dance, but one of her close friends was invited so they'll be split up now at dance class.
She cried and cried. But then she got up and got her dance gear on and went to class. She was gracious and congratulatory to her friend. She begged me to e-mail the studio director to ask what she needed to work on, and she's currently plotting to take MORE dance classes next year so she'll have a better chance to get in next time. I'm proud of her perseverance and resiliency. She's a good egg.

Oh no, poor Teagan! Good for her though, being gracious to her friend AND wanting to know what she needs to work on and improve. You should be very proud!
